About Sandra Goodman

I began my career as a classical singer, working with most of the important musical organizations in New York. Through my love of poetry, I became fascinated with Shakespeare, and was both a coach and a performer with several theater companies. All along, I have been strongly drawn to ceremony, especially Jewish ceremony. All my interests were combined when I became a Cantor, first at Sinai Reform Temple in Bay Shore, New York, and then at Temple Beth Sholom in Queens.

Marriage Officiating combines everything I love: beautiful music, meaningful words, prayers, psalms, and celebrations! I am ordained as a Cantor and registered as a Marriage Officiant in New York City and State, so I can perform any kind of marriage anywhere in the United States.
